Promoting Emotional Adjustments through Core Values Education (PEACE) Project

What is the PEACE Project?

The Peace Project is an educational program designed to help perpetrators of violence become accountable and take responsibility for their actions. Almost anyone can benefit from the program. Peace accepts referrals from all community agencies - individuals may enroll in the program without a referral. The Peace Project has been serving the north central, Alabama community since 2009.

When and how much are the classes?

Peace Project classes are conducted at Calhoun Community College, the Athens-Limestone Counseling Center in Athens, and Somerville Place in Decatur. Orientation is held on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 AM to 12 PM at Calhoun
Community College. Registration, which includes materials, is $50.00. Each addittional class costs $20.00 - total program cost is $250.
